Amidst the GTA’s pressing housing crisis, the Portlands represents the next frontier of development in central Toronto, offering an unprecedented opportunity to make a significant impact on housing supply and livability within the East Harbour Major Transit Station Area. Our ambitious 3-tower development plan aims to transform the current storage and parking areas at 120 Bouchette Street into a vibrant, transit-oriented community complete with privately owned public space, green mid-block connections to McCleary Park, at-grade street-activating retail, a mix of residential unit types as well as workforce housing that includes live-work units and integrated business centres.

Specifically, the project will provide 1,587 residential units, 39 live-work spaces and 21,400 square feet of retail/commercial space which will contribute to the economic vitality of the ambitious and evolving plan for the McCleary District. The project was sensitively designed to respond to the area's industrial past and massed to respond to the heights of the major approved developments in the East Harbour Area.

This proposed development is a critical step towards alleviating Toronto's housing crisis while contributing to the larger visionary goal of transforming and revitalizing the waterfront and Portlands area. By creating a balanced mix of residential, commercial, and live/work spaces, we aim to build a sustainable and inclusive community that benefits all Torontonians.
